DESCRIPTION  

RiiFFS Taif smells like fresh ginger squeezed into sparkling lemon and bergamot, then softened with creamy white flowers, clean musk and warm vanilla woods. It starts sharp, bright and almost fizzy before gradually becoming smoother and sweeter on the skin. RiiFFS officially lists Taif as an Extrait de Parfum, with iced ginger, orange blossom, Calabrian bergamot and lemon forming its opening.

 

The first spray is all about ginger and citrus.

Ginger gives the opening a cool, spicy bite while lemon and Calabrian bergamot create an energetic citrus blast. It doesn't smell like warm gingerbread or sugary ginger candy. Think more along the lines of fresh ginger dropped into an ice-cold sparkling lemonade—zesty, slightly spicy and incredibly refreshing.

 

Orange blossom sits underneath the citrus, adding just enough floral sweetness to smooth out the sharper edges.

As Taif settles, the fragrance starts becoming noticeably creamier.

 

Tuberose and rose petals emerge through the heart, while musk gives everything a clean, almost airy softness. The tuberose brings a richer white-floral texture, but the ginger and citrus remain noticeable enough that the fragrance never turns into a heavy bouquet.

This is where Taif becomes particularly addictive.

 

The spicy ginger begins mixing with the florals, creating something that feels fresh and creamy at the same time. Imagine sparkling ginger soda decorated with rose petals and orange blossom—the freshness is still there, but now there's a smooth floral sweetness surrounding it.

Then the vanilla starts appearing.

 

Vanilla bean, Clearwood and Amberwood form the base, transforming the brighter opening into something warmer and smoother. Vanilla adds sweetness without completely turning Taif into a gourmand, while Amberwood and Clearwood provide a modern woody backbone.
